Our Therapists

Laura Lee earned her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2014.  She is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina as well as a National Certified Counselor (NCC).  Laura Lee has worked with individuals from childhood to adulthood.  She has a certificate in Play Therapy and uses a child-centered approach.  She has worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as providing individual and group therapy.  She has experience working with adjustment issues, various mental health disorders, substance abuse, grief and loss, and chronic health issues. Laura Lee uses a person-centered theoretical orientation to counseling as well as a cognitive behavioral approach, however, every client is unique and Laura Lee adapts her counseling practice to meet clients where they are through collaboration within the therapeutic process.
